Report fake YouTube accounts

If you discover a fake account on YouTube, it's important to report it to help protect others from potential scams or malicious content. Here's how you can report a fake YouTube account:

Go to the fake account's YouTube profile page.
Click on the "About" section.
Click on the flag icon and select "Report user."
Select the reason for the report that best describes the issue ("Impersonation"),
Follow the prompts to provide additional information about the fake account, including the reason why you believe it is fake.
Click the "Submit" button to finalize the report.

More details on this process are available in this YouTube Help Center article.

Note: there are different instructions for reporting a video vs reporting a user or channel. Instructions on reporting specific videos can be found at this YouTube Help Center link.

Once you've reported the fake account, YouTube will review the report and take appropriate action if necessary. It's important to note that YouTube may follow up with additional information if they need to gather more information or if they take action in response to your report.
